Wikipedia defines factorial as: The non-negative integer which is the product of all integers less than or equal to itself. It takes the symbol n!, where n is the non-negative integer. (ex. 1! = 1;  2! = 2 x 1 = 2;  3! = 3 x 2 x 1 = 6;  4! = 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 24)

How the Whatch Works (example at left):  Two columns of numbers are displayed. Each number in the column represents the factorial of that number. The left column indicates hours, the right column indicates minutes. The value represented by each factorial adds to the one below it.
(Hour: 3! + 2! = 6 + 2 = 8;     Minutes: 4! + 3! + 2! + 2! +  1!  =  24 + 6 + 2 + 2 + 1  = 35) .   The time is 8:35
